Due to the usage of innovative equipment, unique technologies and materials by Nikopharm, our PE bottles and ampoules have the following advantages:

• high safety level for a consumer;
• strict adherence to GMP rules during technological process;
• comfortable storage and transportation;
• no need for an additional needle to withdraw a product from PE ampoules, since there is Luer lock available which in its turn minimizes the risk of microbial contamination during product withdrawal with a syringe;
• no risk of injury when ampoules or bottles are used;
• cost saving for indemnification of the broken ampoules and bottles;
• light package weight;

Blow-Fill-Seal technology combines the following processes in the one machine:

• extrusion: when polyethylene is melted and container is blown;
• formation: when bottle is formed;
• filling: when bottle is filled upon its cooling;
• seal: when bottle is sealed.

The above procedure is performed on the filling machine within one working cycle.

A bottle is sealed with the cap and at the same time the product does not come in contact with the rubber layer of the cap, since it becomes fully isolated in the bottle at the blow/fill/seal stage and the area between the bottle and the cap is sterilized during production.

For bottles and ampoules, polyethylene Purell is used.  Purell polyethylene has high hardness and excellent resistance to chemical exposure and it is recommended for use in pharmaceutical industry to make packaging materials, caps and sealing closures: http://www.lyondellbasell.com.

Material used in the production complies with the requirements of European (EP) and American (USP)  Pharmacopoeias.
